Frank Sultana

Frank Sultana, an Australian contemporary blues virtuoso now residing in Kiama, is a musical force with a timeless allure. His music, steeped in pre-World War II mojo, boasts dark, dirty guitar tones complemented by a gritty, soulful voice that narrates the tales of characters and places. Since his 2011 debut album 'Blues from the Lost Motel,' Frank has authored a remarkable discography, accumulating 4 EPs and 9 albums, with 4 releases in the last 2.5 years.

In January 2023, Frank achieved a milestone by winning the solo/duo category at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, becoming only the third Australian in the event's 38-year history to do so. His victory was accompanied by the recording of his latest album, 'The Ghosts of Sun,' at the iconic Sun Studios. At the Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival, Frank, with his stellar house band, promises an immersive musical experience, featuring top-tier musicians and a fusion of blues that transcends.

Nathan Beretta

Nathan Beretta is a young blues guitarist and singer songwriter from the mid North coast town of Woolgoolga. Authentic, yet modern, and bringing an "all killer, no filler" approach to his playing, Nathan first made his mark on the Australian Blues scene with his award winning band Blue Eyes Cry in 2015, and since going solo has continued to be a favourite on the east coast blues scene.

Jesse Redwing

Jesse Redwing has been wowing audiences in his hometown of Sydney, quietly gaining a reputation for being an exciting and authentic blues artist, who plays guitar and harp, as well as sings.

In January 2024 Jesse and fellow blues artist Kane Muir will represent the Sydney Blues Society at the Memphis International Blues Challenge in the solo/duo section

James Southwell

Canberra's James Southwell has been performing his brand of electrifying blues all over the country for over a decade.

His music comes from a deep love of the blues with heavy inspirational rock n roll influences, soulful vocals and great guitar chops.

Continental Robert Susz

Robert Woolf

Dan Sullivan

Continental Robert Susz - the word legend is thrown around a lot these days, but in this case we can safely say that Robert Susz is an Australian blues legend, having recently been inducted into the Sydney Blues Society Hall of Fame.

One of the only blues artists in this country who can lay claim to a genuine Australian hit single , having written and recorded the iconic 'Soul Kinda Feelin' with the Dynamic Hepnotics' in 1985. Following this success Robert went on to lead legendary Sydney blues band the Mighty Reapers and then as a solo artist. Continental Robert will also have his long time band mate and piano player extraordinaire Robert Woolf for a shootout /jam session set.

Dan Sullivan has built quite the reputation as one of the country's finest blues harp players. Whether he's fronting his own band, Tomcat Playground, or playing in Franks Blues band, he wows audiences everywhere he goes.

Ben Wicks

Adrian Herbert

Sally Wiggins

Frank will lead an amazing band featuring, Ben Wicks (Melbourne's Blues Roulette) on bass, Adrian Herbert on percussion, our very own Sally Wiggins on drums, and an array of house guests.

This will be an all out blues, rock n roll party and one of the places to be over the Jazz and Blues weekend.

Note: A Day or Weekend pass is required for this amazing event.
