2027 Visual ARTIST - Luke Player

Presenting the Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival 2027 Visual Artist - Luke Player.

Bio: Luke Player is an artist, illustrator and freelance graphic designer from the South Coast of NSW, Dhawaral Country.

Luke's background in print making constantly informs his creative practice, feeling the soul of a poster comes from a hands-on and imperfect approach.

As a collector and obsessive of old design, notably souvenir merchandise and ephemera along with psychedelia print and poster media, aspects of this blend into his art and design practice; using bright and bold colours, type and imagery to touch on elements of graphic work from a spectrum of eras.
