Carl Perkins: The King of Rockabilly

Join us for a special joint Friends of Kiama Library and KJBF event - a talk with Jeff Apter, author of Carl Perkins: The King of Rockabilly, hosted by Marty Bright / comedian.

Jeff's latest book gives us an insight into the life of Carl Perkins, the Rockabilly musician best known for writing the song Blue Suede Shoes.

SIMA TOUR READY WORKSHOP

We're lucky enough to be able to host Sydney Improvised Music Association (SIMA) and their mentorship program known as Tour Ready.

This workshop is aimed at developing & maintaining sustainable touring networks for the jazz music industry. A vibrant panel discussion will include key local & regional industry participants. Catering by Slow Dough.

This is a great FREE EVENT for all musicians, sponsored by SIMA and Sound NSW.
